Future Hall of Famer Sidney Crosby recorded his first career NHL hat-trick on October 28, 2006 wearing this jersey in a 8-2 victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. Inside the rear middle tail is the Penguins team tag that reads “Game worn jerseys customised for the Pittsburgh Penguins”. The fight strap is intact with the signature of head equipment manager Dana Deinze. Attached inside the collar is a size “54” tag with the player number “87” handwritten in faded black marker. Multiple stick/puck marks and staining is present throughout the jersey. Across the front is the Penguins team logo crest. The alternate captain “A” logo is on the upper left chest. The player number “87” is on both sleeves and the back and across the back is the player name “CROSBY” on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in black on gold on black tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
