Hall of Famer and seven time All-Star Dan Issel became the 12th player to score 20,000 points on November 12, 1980 against the New Jersey Nets in a 10 point and 7 rebound performance. The offered basketball is the actual ball Issel used to score the milestone point. Spalding manufactured “Official Game Ball” with a great vintage look and feel. Issel signed the ball in black marker with the added inscription “11/12/80 Nuggets v Nets 20,000 point game” and in our opinion the signature rates a near 10. Also included is a wooden stand with an engraved plate reading “DAN ISSEL 1980 12TH PLAYER IN PRO BASKETBALL TO MAKE 20,000 PTS.” Accompanied by an Issel LOA and a Full JSA LOA.
