This two-paged handwritten letter is dated November 26, 1902, and signed by Woodrow Wilson, the 28th president of the United States. Wilson was serving as president of Princeton at the time of his letter. In his letter to “Mr. and Mrs. Herbert B. Stevens” Wilson thanks them for their support. The letter reads in part “My dear friends, For so I must call you. Your kind letter came yesterday” “a touching reminder of your irreparable loss, a beautiful indication of humane and poetic feeling”. Wilson signed the bottom of the fold-over letter in blue ink and in our opinion rates a 9. The letter displays a single horizontal and vertical fold, light creasing and glue residue on the verso. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
