This Presidential document is made out in beautiful calligraphy and has remained in outstanding condition over time. The document is dated February 8th, 1905. Roosevelt signed on the appropriate line in bold black ink and in our opinion the signature rates a strong vintage 8. Roosevelt’s Secretary of the Navy signed to the left and the appropriate “UNITED STATES NAVY DEPARTMENT” seal is on the bottom. Age appropriate fading to the ink and document is present but has remained in tremendous condition overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
