The E90-1 set was produced by the American Caramel Co. from 1909 through 1911, with the bulk of the set being released in the first year. Ty Cobb captured the AL Triple Crown in 1909 and was a unanimous choice for MVP of the American League in 1911 after posting a .420 batting average for the season. Only two submitted Ty Cobb E90-1 cards submitted to PSA for encapsulation and grading have received a higher grade than the offered PSA NM 7.
