One of baseball’s most iconic photos depicts Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig sitting behind the batting cage in their Yankees flannel jerseys. This type two 8x10 black and white photo is in great condition showing the both of them. The back of the photo has the “L. VAN OEYEN PHOTOGRAPHER” “NO. 459” stamp. The subject reads “Gehrig, Lou Ruth, Babe” and below reads “Yankees July 1927” all done in script style pencil.
