On the back inside flap of the jersey’s crotch piece is the May & Halas manufacturer’s tag with two attached flag tags reading the size “46” and “DRY CLEAN ONLY”. The player number “53” appears on the front and the back in white tackle twill. There are 10 red tackle twill stars across both shoulders. On the inside button path of the pants is the May & Halas manufacturer’s tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “34”. There is team piping down both legs. The suspension helmet is Wilson manufactured. On the inner shell is a “6 ?” size stamp that is fading. The outer shell also reads “6 ?” and “Full Fibre Reinforced”. Also offered is a large blue blanket with red trim with a felt shield patch on the center that reads “ALL-AMERICAN 1946”. The “13th Annual All Star Football Game” official program from August 23, 1946 is also included which depicts a player in the same uniform after kicking a football. This full uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from the Nussbaumer family.
