On the inner waistband just adjacent to the front button is the “MacGregor Goldsmith” manufacturer’s tag with size “36”. Above is a white felt strip tag with “Thompson 19 1 47” embroidered in red chain stitch indicating player name, number, pants set and year, respectively. On the rear inner waistband are several numbers written in black marker indicating the pants were recycled and possibly sent down to the Minors. The pants are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, show outstanding use; from Thomson's first full season. Also included is a single page MacGregor endorement contract dated “6/15 1947” signed by Bob Thomson in blue ink rating an 8. The page has a small piece missing from the top center and shows discoloration throughout. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
