This eye-grabbing, apple-red St. Louis Hawks road warm-up jacket was worn during the late 1950s by Hall of Famer Clyde Lovellette, whose versatility for a "big man" (6-foot-9) is seen in his career averages of 17 points and 9.5 rebounds. Lovellette, an All-American at Kansas, began with the Minneapolis Lakers dynasty in 1953 and won a ring as a rookie. In 1958 he was traded to the Hawks, teaming with Bob Petit, Cliff Hagan and Jack Twyman. The size-48 snap-front jacket is in excellent condition and has "Hawks" in script letters on the front and "St. Louis" on the back in blue and white, and the player number "3" on the left sleeve
