On the inner rear collar is a “MacGregor” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. On the inner right tail is a tag reading “SET 2 1962”. On the left chest is the “REDS” logo in red and white chain-stitching on navy blue tackle twill. Adjacent to the left and on back is the player number “10” in red on navy blue tackle twill. In 1961, the Reds added a navy blue band around one of the sleeves commemorating the death of owner Powell Crosely. The following year in 1962, the Reds added the band to both sleeves and were reissued to the players, as this jersey most likely was. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use with a small repair to the right of fifth button down.
