First baseman George Scott won his first of eight Gold Gloves in arguably his best all around season in 1967 with the Boston Red Sox. This beautiful display measures 17 inches long and stands almost 16 inches high. A left handed gold glove is on the center mantle with a picture of Scott in his Red Sox cap beneath. Two Rawlings baseballs sit on each side of the glove. The base reads “1967 RAWLINGS GOLD GLOVE AWARD Presented To GEORGE SCOTT Honoring His Selection As THE FINEST IN THE FIELD!” with two Rawlings logos framing the text. Scott lost his original Gold Glove Award in a house fire, and was given this as a replacement in the 1970s. The award remains in fantastic condition and remains an ideal display.
