Free-spirited, hair-dryer-toting Joe Pepitone clashed with staid Yankee tradition but the big-beaked first baseman was a fixture in pinstripes from 1962 to 1969. Pepitone played for both great and awful Bomber teams. In the waistband is a Wilson label with the size-34 and another reading "1968 Set 2." The numbers "34" and "68" are hand-written in grey marker along the inner band and there is a sewn-in tag with stitched scripted letters reading "Pepitone 27 ins."
