On the inner front right tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “40”. Adjacent to the right is another tag with wash instructions. On the front left tail is “40 31 1970” in red chain-stitching. On the left chest is the “REDS” logo in white chain-stitching on red tackle twill. Adjacent to the left and on back is the player number “31”. Arched across the back is the player name “McGLOTHLIN”, which has been professionally restored. This variation in tail tagging, that appears to be hand-done, leads us to believe that this shirt was worn in the World Series, which McGlothlin pitched at home in Game 2. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
