Billy Martin is a five-time World Series champion and his No. 1 is retired by the New York Yankees. Inside on the rear sweatband is a “New Era” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a faded “7 ½” size tag. On the manufacturer’s tag is JSA sticker “X46014”. On the underside of the brim is manager number “1” written in marker. Martin signed the cap on the underside of the brim in marker and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. On the front of the cap is the “NY” logo embroidered in white stitching. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn by Billy Martin and is accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
