On the front left tail is the Wilson size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Inside on the rear collar fold is a grey strip tag reading, “36 44 72” embroidered in chain stitching. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK” and the player number “36” appears on both the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered. The team name on front and both player numbers on the front and back have been restored. The armband on the left sleeve has been removed. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
