The New England Patriots were coming off their ninth consecutive non-winning season, a dreadful 1975 campaign that concluded with six straight losses. The following season the team found a wave of success from start to finish. The 1976 season was, in many respects, the high-water mark for the Patriots franchise to that point in its history. Offered is a 1976 “Spirit Of 76” Patriots ring size “9”. The left shank reads “76 LOYALTY COURAGE WISDOM” and the right shank reads “SPIRIT OF 76” above a Patriot character playing the drums. The face of the ring reads “FOXBORO PATRIOTS” around red stone. Properly stamped on the bands interior is “BALFOUR 10K”. EX-NM condition.
