Guidry was a 4-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glover, AL Cy Young Award winner and 2-time AL Wins & ERA Leader during his 14 seasons with the Yankees. On the front left tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with size “40” and wash instructions. On the inner rear collar is a grey strip tag with “Guidry 76 1” in navy blue chain-stitching. Across the front reads “NEW YORK”. Across the back is the player number “49”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the remnants of a black memorial armband commemorating the death of former Manager Casey Stengel. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
