First ballot Hall of Fame inductee Willie Stargell has his No. 8 retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise. A two-time World Series champion and one-time World Series MVP, Stargell was a seven-time All-Star, a National League MVP and led the NL in home runs two times. Manuf: H&B, Model Number: P89, Length: 35 in., Weight: 34.2 oz., Wood: Ash with a hickory finish. Labeling Period: 1977-78. Condition: Uncracked. Ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel and include black ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the back barrell. Moderate pine tar on the handle. The player number "8" is written on the knob in black pen. This bat was presented to us as game-used and shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat an 9.
