The NHL All-Star Game went on hiatus in 1979 as the league's best players faced the Soviet Union in a three-game series at Madison Square Garden. Ontario native Larry Robinson joined what essentially was Team Canada except for a few players. Robinson was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995 and was named one of the "100 Greatest NHL Players". Inside the rear neck is the Gerry Cosby manufacturers tag size “52”. Across the front is a large “NHL” logo patch done in orange and black embroidery. On both sleeves and across the back is the player number “19” done in orange on black tackle twill. On the back shoulders are an orange and black “NHL” logo embroidered. Across the back reads the player name ”ROBINSON” in black on orange tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from MeiGray and a notarized LOA confirming our consignor was gifted the jersey directly from Robinson.
