Drafted 15th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, Mike Bossy began a stellar ten-year career whereby he established himself as one of the most talented snipers the game has ever seen. He became the first Islander to score 500 goals and 1000 points. Attached to the inside collar is a faded Sandow SK manufacturer’s flag tag size “EXTRA LARGE” and an additional flag tag with washing instructions. On the rear right tail reads “SANDOW SK”. On the front is a large orange, blue and white tackle twill “NY ISLANDERS” logo crest. The player number “22” appears on the back and on both sleeves. Across the back reads the player name “BOSSY” on a blue mesh nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in the same white on orange tackle twill. The fight strap has been removed. Multiple repairs are present on the back and sleeves and board burns and stick marks are on the front and back. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Byrons Hockey Land LOA.
