On the front left tail of the jersey is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with size “42” and wash instructions. On the inner rear collar is a white strip tag with “Murcer 81 1” in navy blue chain-stitching. On the left chest is the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo. Across the back is the player number “2”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the remnants of a black memorial armband commemorating the death of former player Elston Howard. The front of the jersey has been signed by Murcer in blue marker, in our opinion the signature rates an 8. On the inner right waistband of the pants is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with size “32” and wash instructions. Adjacent to the right is a white strip tag with “Murcer 81 1 24” in navy blue chain-stitching. Across the inner rear waistband is “STARNES” and “Christy” both written in black marker. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
