A productive two-way back, Marcus Allen was the first player ever to gain more than 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards during his career. Allen has a winning pedigree at every level of play, being the only player in the history of football to have won a Heisman Trophy, an NCAA National Championship, a Super Bowl and be named NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP. Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003. On the right inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a “TAVEGGIA & BRUSATI” distributor’s tag and below is a “Sand-Knit” size “42” manufacturer’s tag. The player number “32” appears on the front, on the back and on both sleeves. These are done in silver tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “ALLEN” painted in silver directly onto a black mesh nameplate. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an additional LOA grading the shirt an A7.
