Bobby Murcer was named an All-Star in five consecutive seasons from 1971-75 and won a Gold Glove Award in 1972. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. Inside the collar is a strip tag incorrectly spelling “Mercer 82 2” embroidered which is consistent with his 1982 home jersey. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the player number “2”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a PM&G LOA grading the jersey a 10.
