Hall of Famer Clark Gillies was 6-times a 30-Goal scorer and was part of one of the best lines in NHL history playing Left Wing alongside fellow Hall of Famers Bryan Trottier and Mike Bossy. Gillies was named 1st Team NHL All Star in 1978 and 1979. He was a part of the Islanders 4-time defending Stanley Cup Champions dynasty. Attached inside below the collar is the Syosset manufacturer’s tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “52” and a tag with washing instructions. The jersey consists of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, heavy inner pilling and several team-sewn repairs. Across the chest is the Islanders team logo crest. The player number “9” is on both sleeves and back is the player number “9” and across the back is the player name “GILLIES” on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. The fight strap is intact. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
