Carl Yastrzemski is an 18-time All-Star, the possessor of seven Gold Gloves and a member of the 3000 hit club. He is the Red Sox' all-time leader in career RBIs, runs, hits, singles, doubles, total bases and games played. In 1967, Yastrzemski achieved a peak in his career, leading the Red Sox to the AL pennant for the first time in over two decades. Inside the collar is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. On the front left tail is a box tag reading the year “83”. Across the front reads “RED SOX” and on the back is the player number “8”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
