Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy retired as the NHL’s all-time winningest goalie with 551 wins. Roy is the current record holder with an amazing 151 playoff wins to go along with his 4 Stanley Cup rings and 3 Conn Smythe Trophies. Roy wore this jersey during his rookie season. Attached inside the collar are two flag tags, a “CCM” Maska tag and beneath is a tag reading “85 01”. Across the chest is the Canadiens team logo crest. The player number “33” is on both sleeves and on the back in blue on red tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “ROY” in blue tackle twill. Multiple repairs are present on the front of the jersey as well as puck marks. The loop style fight strap is intact and Roy signed on the base of it in blue marker and in our opinion rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. The jersey has been photo-matched by Photo-Match.com and Marc Juteau of Classic Auctions.
