"Pistol" Pete Maravich will always be the greatest college basketball player to step onto the floor. He was the NCAA scoring leader three times at LSU (1968-70) and averaged an NCAA record 44.2 points per game. This original 1986 NBA All-Star ring was awarded to Pete Maravich during an NBA Old Timers game. The ring is celestrum with a blue stone and basketball design in the middle. Engraved around the stone is "NBA All Star". The left shank has "1986, the state of Texas with NBA logo and 36th Annual All Star Game." The right shank has "Maravich and NBA logo." The stamping "Balfour" is in the inside band. The ring grades NM and is a size 10. Also included is a letter of authenticity from Pete's brother, Ronnie Maravich.
