Drafted in four major sports leagues (NBA, ABA, MLB, NFL), Dave Winfield amassed over 3,110 hits, 468 HRs and 1,833 RBI in his 22 year major league career. A five tool player, Winfield established himself as one of the premier outfielders in the game. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2001. This New York Yankee home knit pinstripe jersey was worn by Winfield during the 1988 season. In the neck of the jersey is a white patch reading "Winfield 88 2" in black chain stitch denoting the year and the set number respectively. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" exclusive label with the size tag "44" adjacent to it. On the left breast is the New York logo and on the back is the player number "31." Both the logo and the number are made of blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
