Dennis Rodman led the “Bad Boy” Detroit Pistons to their second consecutive NBA title in the 1989-90 season. Rodman retired as arguably the greatest rebounder in NBA history and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Offered is Rodman’s All-Star full uniform from that 89-90 season. On the front left tail is the MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “42”. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “NBA ALL-STAR” screened in red on blue. In between this and on the back is the player number “10”. Above the player number on the back is the player name “RODMAN”. These are screened in blue. There are alternating blue and red stars running down the sides. In the rear waistband of the shorts is the MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “34” with an attached flag tag reading “01”. Adjacent is a strip tag with the player number “10” handwritten on it in black marker. On the front right leg is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Down the sides reads “EAST” screened in red on blue and on the front of both legs is a star logo also in red on blue. Rodman signed both the jersey and the shorts in black marker with the same added inscription “Game Used 1989-90 Defensive player of the year All Defensive First Team NBA Champion” and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 7. There is minimal residue remaining from being framed that does not affect the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA, as well as LOA’s from Rodman, PSA/DNA, one grading the jersey an A10 and a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match.
