The death of Reggie Lewis brought together approximately 15,000 mourners both black and white in a normally racially divided city. In his six seasons, Reggie averaged 17.6 points a game. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "Champion" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size "46" on it. Adjacent to that is another "Champion" year tag with "BODY LENGTH +3" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "CELTICS." Below that and on the back is the player number "35." Across the back is "LEWIS." On the left breast is the official "NBA" logo patch. All lettering and numbering is done in white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
