Kirby Puckett was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 on the first ballot. Puckett has his No. 34 retired by the Minnesota Twins franchise from winning two World Series championships, six Gold Glove Awards and six Silver Slugger Awards. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached below is a flag tag that reads, “100% POLYESTER”. On the inside of the rear collar fold is a strip tag with “34-93-4” printed on it. Across the chest reads, “Twins” and the player number “34” appears on both the front and on the back. There is three Velcro strips on the button path, a positive attribute for a Puckett jersey. All numbering and lettering are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white pinstriped jersey. Puckett signed below the right shoulder and on the back player number “4” in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered and on the left sleeve is the team’s “TC” logo in navy blue and red on white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
