Jim Kelly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 on the first ballot and has his jersey number 12 retired by the franchise. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Adjacent is the “DESIGNED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR BUFFALO BILLS” tag. The player number “12” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. These are painted in white with a red-painted border. Across the back reads the player name, “KELLY” in white heat pressed vinyl on a blue nameplate. On the upper left chest is the “NFL 75” anniversary patch. Regular season jerseys typically had the 35th anniversary patch on the upper right chest along with the NFL 75th anniversary patch. This throwback version features only the NFL 75th anniversary patch as all NFL teams were required to wear throwback jerseys. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
