David Robinson joined the Spurs for the 1989–90 season, and led the Spurs to the greatest single season turnaround in NBA history at the time. They advanced to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs where they lost in seven games to the eventual conference champion Portland Trail Blazers. Following the 1989–90 season, he was unanimously named the year. The Spurs made the playoffs seven more seasons in a row, but never got farther than the Western Conference finals. Robinson also made the 1992 US Olympic Dream Team that won the gold medal in Barcelona. Robinson went on to win the MVP trophy in 1995, and in 1996 he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. On the front left tail is the "Champion" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and jersey size "46" on it. Adjacent is another Champion "1995-96 Designed & Tailored Exclusively for San Antonio Spurs" "BODY LENGTH +4" tag. Across the front is "SPURS" in white on black on grey triple tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "50" in white on grey tackle twill. Across the back is "ROBINSON" in white tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey is autographed on the front number "5' in black marker and rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Accompanied by a San Antonio Spurs LOA.
