Hall Of Famer Chipper Jones spent his entire 19-year career with the Atlanta Braves. Jones finished in the top 10 for MVP six times and won the award in 1999. Offered is a jersey from Chipper’s rookie campaign, where he belted 23 home runs and finished 2nd in Rookie of the Year voting behind Hideo Nomo. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturers tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading the size “44”. Adjacent below is a box tag reading the year “95”. Across the chest reads “Braves” in red on navy blue tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “C. JONES” in navy blue tackle twill. Below is the player number “10” in red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “30th SEASON IN ATLANTA” Braves patch. Jones signed the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription that appears to read “God Bless You Raffy!” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The jersey shows evidence of great wear with beautiful baseball related staining throughout the front and back and a slight overall toning. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
