Chipper Jones was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018. Jones enjoyed the best offensive season of his career in 1999, winning the National League MVP batting .319, clubbing 45 home runs, driving in 110 runs and leading the Braves to the World Series. Jones used this bat against the New York Yankees in the 1999 World Series. Jones recorded 3 hits and a home run in the series. Manufacturer: Rawlings Length: 35 inches Weight: 33.2 ounces. The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding game-use with multiple ball marks, ink transfers, bat rack and cleat impressions throughout. There is a coat of pine tar on the handle. The player number “10” is handwritten on the bottom and knob of the bat in period faded black marker. Also handwritten on the knob is “33 Jones”. Stamped into the knob is “WS 99” which denotes that the bat was manufactured for the World Series. The appearance of an ink impression created by a 2000 MLB ball is visible, showing subsequent use. This bat was manufactured for use in the World Series. Jones signed the barrel of the bat in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA GU10.
