Joe Torre became a Hall of Famer in 2014, is a four-time World Series champion and has his No. 6 retired by the New York Yankees franchise. In 1999 Torre led the Yankees to a 98-64 regular season record and an almost perfect postseason record of 11-1 including a sweep over the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. On the left front tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag size “48” with washing instructions.. Attached is "100% POLYESTER" flag tag and “TORRE 99” strip tag. On the left chest is the “NY” interlocked logo. On back is the manager number “6”. All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "1999 World Series" patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband with the "5" above in black tackle twill worn in memory of Yankee greats Catfish Hunter and Joe DiMaggio. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
