Sidney Crosby began his future first ballot Hall of Fame career with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005. As the first overall pick in the NHL draft, he certainly didn’t disappoint in his Rookie season tallying 102 points. Since then Crosby has won three Stanley Cups, two Olympic Gold Medals with Team Canada, two Hart trophies and two Conn Smythe trophies and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. On the right inseam is the Air-Knit manufacturer’s tag reading “100% POLYESTER” with washing instructions. On the inside rear middle tail is the Pittsburgh Penguins team inventory tag sewn in and stamped by the equipment manager Steve Latin. The fight strap is intact. Inside the rear attached to the collar is a “MADE IN CANADA” size “54” flag tag with the player number “87” written on it in black marker. Across the front is the team’s "Penguin" patch. Adjacent is the assistant captain’s "A" logo done in black on gold on black tackle twill. On the back and on both sleeves is the player number "87." On the back is the player name "CROSBY" on a white nameplate. These all are done in black on gold on black tackle twill. On the back below the collar is the “Reebok” logo embroidered. On each shoulder is the team “Penguin” triangle logo patch. On the rear bottom right tail is the official “NHL” logo. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-issued and in our opinion shows very light use.
