Future Hall of Famer Sidney Crosby's rookie season in 2005-06 was highly anticipated, as he had been touted as a generational talent and was the first overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Crosby began his rookie campaign with the Pittsburgh Penguins at the age of 18, and he immediately made an impact on the team and the league. In his rookie season, Crosby recorded 39 goals and 63 assists for a total of 102 points, making him only the seventh player in NHL history to record 100 or more points in their rookie season. Sher-Wood manufactured Momentum X Comp hockey stick that shows excellent game-use throughout. The handle has been taped with the player number “87” written at the top in black marker. The blade has been taped in black with a Crosby signature in gold marker and in our opinion rates an 8. Vertically down the shaft reads “CROSBY 87”.
