Josh Smith won the 2005 NBA Dunk Contest, defeating Amar'e Stoudemire in the finals. During the final round Smith switched his jersey to this Dominique Wilkins jersey in honor of the Hall of Famer who was in attendance before throwing down a monster dunk that received a perfect score of 50. The Champion manufactured size “48” jersey with an attached flag tag reading “+4” LENGTH” features a tag reading “Dominique Wilkins Retirement Ceremony 1-13-01”. Across the chest reads “Hawks” and on the back is the player name “WILKINS” in white tackle twill. The player number “21” is on the front and back in red tackle twill. Both Wilkins and Smith signed the back of the jersey in black marker with Wilkins adding the inscription “85-90 Slam Dunk Champ” and Smith added the inscription “2005 Slam Dunk Champ!” and in our opinion rate a combined 9. Also included is a Spalding manufactured tri-colored basketball with the “DENVER ALL-STAR 2005” logo stamped on a panel. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
