Future Hall of Fame tight end Antonio Gates wore this helmet for multiple games during the 2008 season including the AFC Wild Card game and AFC Divisional Playoff game and in total caught 7 touchdowns wearing it. Riddell manufactured size “Large” helmet with multiple recertification and warning labels inside the shell. The Chargers team “Bolt” logo decal is on both sides of the helmet. On the back is the player number “85”, “GU 63” for Gene Upshaw, an American flag and a “NFL” decal. The back bumper reads “CHARGERS”. The helmet shows game-use throughout including hit marks. The inside padding and chinstrap are fully intact. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows wear. Accompanied by multiple RGU LOA’s confirming the matches.
