2015 Frank Mason III Team USA Summer Universiade FISU Gold Medal & Game-Used Uniform (3)

The 2015 men's tournament of basketball was held at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju. Team USA captured the Gold Medal defeating Germany 84-77 in overtime. Frank Mason III led the team in assists with 6 in the Gold Medal game. Presented is his full uniform and gold medal from the tournament. The lot is highlighted by Mason’s gold medal which comes in its original box and reads “UNIVERSIADE GWANGJU 2015” and “U FISU”. The medal is in mint condition. On the front left tail of the jersey is the Adidas manufacturer’s tag size “M” with an attached flag tag reading “LENGTH +2”. Across the chest reads “USA” in white on blue tackle twill on a red plate. On the upper left chest reads “USA GWANGJU 2015”. The player number “0” appears below and on the back in blue mesh on blue on red tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “MASON III” in blue on red tackle twill and on the back collar is a “KU” logo as he represented the University of Kansas. Also included are a matching pair of shorts size “L” with “0 0” handwritten on in black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
