At the conclusion of the 2015 New York Yankees season, Gary Sanchez led the Arizona Fall League in home runs, was named the Fall Stars Game Most Valuable Player and the second-best prospect in the AFL by Baseball America. He exploded onto the MLB since being called up in 2016, hitting home runs at a record pace. Sanchez became the first player in MLB history with at least 11 home runs and 31 hits in his first 23 career games. On September 21st, Sánchez hit his 18th and 19th home runs in 45 games, which made him the fastest player to reach that mark in the modern era. Even though he hasn’t been in the majors for long, he was thrust himself into the American League Rookie of the Year race. On the front left tail is a Majestic manufacturer’s tag with a size “50” flag tag attached below. Above is MLB hologram sticker, “HZ704857”. On the left inseam is a size “50” materials tag with washing instructions. On the left chest is the team’s, “NY” logo and on the back is the player number “78”. These are done in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe jersey. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is a Majestic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
