Sidney Crosby was drafted first overall in 2005 as one of the most highly regarded picks in NHL history. By his second season, he led the NHL with 120 points (36 goals, 84 assists) to capture the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league. The future Hall of Famer became the sixth-fastest player to 500 assists in NHL history, reaching the mark in his 554th career game. Inside above the rear tail is a Penguins tag reading “Set 1 Game Jersey”. The fight strap is intact with a signature from head equipment manager Dana Heinze in black marker. Printed inside the collar is an Adidas logo and the size “56”. Across the front is the Penguins team logo crest. On the upper left chest is the captain’s “C” logo in black on yellow tackle twill. The player number “87” is on both sleeves in black on white tackle twill as well as the back in black on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “CROSBY” on a white nameplate in black tackle twill. Beneath the player number on the right sleeve is the “1917-2017 NHL” 100th anniversary patch. Puck/stick marks are present throughout the front and back tail. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
