Future Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter helped secure a 15-6 victory over Venezuela on March 8, 2009 in the first round of the 2009 World Baseball Classic. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag reading “‘09 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC”. On the outer left seam is the size “48” tag along with a “COOL BASE” tag. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Across the front reads “USA” with the “U and “A” in navy blue on red on white tackle twill and the “S” in red on white tackle twill. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “2” in red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the official “‘09 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC” logo embroidered in navy blue, red, yellow, green white and light blue. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in navy blue. On the right sleeve is the American flag embroidered in red, white, blue and yellow. On the rear collar is the World Baseball Classic logo embroidered in red, yellow, light blue, green and white. Across the back is the player name “JETER” in navy blue tackle twill on a grey nameplate. On the “2” on the back of the jersey is a “MLB” hologram sticker with serial number “BC 008600”. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
