First ballot Hall of Famer Derek Jeter received 99.7% of the voting. Drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 1992 amateur draft, “The Captain” of the historic franchise spent his entire career with the Yankees. Jeter won 5 World Series as well as 5 Gold Gloves to go with other career accolades. Jeter wore this jersey on May 23rd, 2012 in a 8-3 victory. Jeter recorded his 3,152nd hit during the game, which tied him with fellow Hall of Famer Paul Waner for the 15th spot on baseball’s all-time hit list. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with two attached flag tags reading “48” and “2012”. Affixed to this tag is an MLB hologram serial number “EK089672” and Steiner hologram serial number “195038”. On the left chest is the Yankees “NY” interlocking logo and on the back is the player number “2”. Minor staining and pulling of the threads are present on the front. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a PM&G LOA and a Yankee Steiner LOA.
