This base was used on August 31, 2007 when Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa became the all-time winning manager in franchise history. Two sides of the base feature the Cardinals logo with “WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS 2006”. Handwritten on the bottom of the base is “8-31-2007 1st BASE” and a MLB hologram serial number “BB562624”. Tony LaRussa signed the top of the base in black marker with the added inscription “Win #1042 - 8/31/07” and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. There is considerable dirt staining and game-use throughout. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
