The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of excellent game-use with ball and bat rack marks and cleat impressions throughout. The player number “8” has been handwritten on the knob in black marker which may have been added to cover another number. Ripken Jr. signed the front barrel in gold marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 8. Adjacent beneath the signature is a Steiner hologram. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA Pre-Cert LOA.
