The Captain of the New York Islanders, Ed Westfall was a defensive specialist often tasked with defending against the star scorers of opposing teams. Westfall played most of his career as a right winger, although he played stints on defense and center. Inside beneath the collar is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “50” with washing instructions. On the upper left chest of this tie down style jersey is the captain’s “C” logo in white on orange tackle twill. On the front is the Islanders team logo crest in blue, orange and white. The player number “18” appears on the back as well as both sleeves in white on orange tackle twill. There is a 3” repair on the front of the jersey as well as stick and puck marks throughout. The loop style fight strap is intact with reinforced stitching. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
