The Spirits of St. Louis were born in the summer of 1974 after the owners of the Carolina Cougars sold the franchise to several New York businessmen. The new owners promptly moved the team to St. Louis. Inside the right button path is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions and an attached tag reading “1” LONGER”. Across the back is the “Spirits of St. Louis” team logo patch in silver on black tackle twill. Multiple player numbers are handwritten inside the tail. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as player worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a referee family LOA.
