Dick Butkus was widely regarded as one of the best and most durable linebackers of all time. He played nine seasons in the NFL, all for the Chicago Bears. He was an 8-time Pro Bowler, 6-time First-Team All-Pro, a 2-time NEA NFL Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the NFL 75th Anniversary, NFL 1960s All-Decade and NFL 1970s All-Decade teams. Butkus’ number 51 has been retired by the Bears and he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979. This ring measures to a size “10”. On the face reads “NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION” surrounding a single diamond. The left shank reads “BUTKUS” above a football helmet with the player number “51” on it. The right shank reads “NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION”. Stamped on the inside is “HERFF JONES HJ 10K” and “X-SP”.
